Driver's Leather Seat

Featured Replies

Good afternoon fellow Skoda Owners. I have a 2014 superb Elegance Estate with beige leather. The bolster and backrest edge are already showing signs of wear and the beige coating is worn through in places.I have read that similar problems happened on the Mk.2 and Skoda replaced the seats under warranty. Has anyone experienced the same problem on the Mk.3 and, if so, what was Skoda's response please?

Has anyone had their seat replaced under warranty on either a Mk2 or Mk3?

Look forward to any feedback. I've not gone to my dealer yet. I thought I'd go armed with some previous experiences........hopefully!

If you have a 2014 model you may get more response from the mk2 section - this is the mk3 section.

I have a 2013 Elegance and there is almost no wear to the seat at all, I guess it depends how much you get in and out. Not sure whether the warranty will cover this as it may be put down to wear and tear, but good luck anyway.

Mk3 Owners are unlikely to have this problem at the moment.... The oldest cars are only around 8 months old ...

Thanks. My mistake . I'll go to the MK2 section

Thanks. My mistake. I'll go to the mk2 section and mark this as solved.

Mine is starting to wear and its only 5000 KM on the clock.... will keep you posted on progress.

Mine is starting to crease & look a little squashed on the door side & I've only done roughly 6,000 miles. This hasn't happened on any of my previous cars until much, much higher mileages.

Oh, that doesn't sound good and a little concerning if that's happening on the new models!  Never had any issues even doing high mileage on either of my MkIIs.
