boost leak, maybe.

Please be a bit more specific

Is it due the leak to some pipe or sometuing inside the turbo?

Probably a turbo pressure hose thats split or a joint that has parted. Look for any oil around the turbo hoses and joints. Usually a sign of pressure leak.

I see oil around the hose catched with dust i think but car was fine untill yesterday afternoon it was after a pretty spirited drive this happend

Are we looking a huge cost or turbo issue by itself ?

Please see the pics link i posted of my engine and the leaks

Hissing sound after spirited drive definitely sounds like a boost leak.

You need to check the big air pipes coming off the turbo to the intercooler and back to the engine intake.

Hopefully just a split pipe which is cheap fix. Worst case is cracked intercooler/turbo/intake but that's much more unlikely.

Would have been more helpful if you had put boost instead of boot.

Fixed that.

No sorry, I haven't received any photos.

The pressurised air pipes that run from the turbo to the intercooler and back to the engine intake contain compressed air and not liquid or oil so it's hard to see anything leaking.

Look at the turbo, big pipes come from the turbo to the front of the car to the intercooler (Looks like a radiator) and then big pipes back from that to the intake at the engine.

Get someone to rev the engine while you listen and feel for air leaks, you should feel air pushing out. Be careful not to put your hands near moving parts like belts and fans.

The last two photos could be a sign of a boost leak, can you feel anything around that area when the engine is revved?

the power picks up after higher revs i noticed .usually around 2 k rpm it used to start pulling but now it shows hesitation but once it crosses 3.5k it pulls and after 3 rd it pulls okay> this is what i felt

the issue was found to be broken diverter valve under the turbo ..

the o rings were broken giving irregular boost :(

Have you fixed it? It's a £50 part and just 3 fixings to remove it.
