Drls not working

Featured Replies

First post so be gentle. I've just received a new citigo se and obviously first thing I've done is changed all the bulbs.

All was going fine untill I changed the drls for leds. Didn't work. Put old bulbs back in and they only work on sidelights not drl.

I've been in fusebox under steering wheel, changed 4 and 22 and

many others that the manual labels as lighting. Still no joy.

Anybody had similar?

Look in the Handbook, there is a way of turning them on/off via the wiper stalk.

Disclaimer:-  I think

The dodgy LED bulbs may have triggered a fault code. If so and if you clear the fault code the DRLs will probably start working again.

Check all fuses, I messed around my all sorts of LED bulbs, cheap to expensive and blew countless fuses, even ones that didn't even seem to be related to the DRL's

Thanks for the help I will have another go at fuses when I get chance. Hyphons do you remember which fuses you were blowing?

I also have a Bluetooth obd reader so I can check for codes.

All sorts of fuses, check any to do with the lights, I think there's one call light switch or something?

Lots of people seem to have had problems changing DRLs to LED. I may just be very lucky, but I changed to LED nearly three years ago with no problems at all and they are still going strongly. They came from HIDS Direct....they were pricey - but worth it, imo.

It won't be a fault code. Check all the fuses in the fusebox that sound light related - the manual is cack at naming what each fuse is for. I think Hyphons has an amended version from when I had to fix his car that had no lights at all.

Sorted now, fuse no 10 if anyone needs to know. Think I'll stick with regular bulbs.
