The most Custom of all rims on a Skoda

Featured Replies

So as some of you may know... Im from accross the drink. Canada to be exact. Unfortunatly... We do not have the Skoda resourses you have. I own 3 of 4 Skoda's in Canada.

When I picked up the 120GLS... Sadly the previous owner took the fron wheels off and used them on one of his Tractors... I was like WTF?

Anyways... Since I own 3 of 4 Skodas in the entire Country... Non of the shops in the City has ANYTHING for my cars... So with the donation of a good friend of mine. I made some rims for my baby. ENJOY:thumbup: :P :D

You have the ability to "UNDERSTATE" things..........That is frightening.

Yeah, it's just you.

real Skoda drivers have owned cars like that since the 70's

And they looked like that 10 minutes after coming off the boat.

Almost as worrying as your trailor :D

The car - I have no problem with.

I find those stud holes in pic2 absolutely terrifying. I would not allow myself to be a passenger in a car with wheels like that. Nothing so much against the concept of drilling your own holes but one nice circular hole in a nice strong area would be more to my preference preferable with a degree of reinforcement around the hole

Wheels are not immortal and ones with as ragged a work as that to done them would be really dicey. Remember the nice light old mini used to be able to pull wheels straight off over bolts on mint rims with proper holes. Fair enough as an amergency measure to be able to be able to push the thing around in the garage. But anything past that is plain scary.

Thats just asking for a high speed wheel departure. Now go rob a beetle for something safe :D.

Whilst you are there might be an idea to look for something to use as a sill, I dont think fillers gonna get you through whatever sort of annual inspection you have over there :D.

What is "KLF"???

What is "KLF"???

The KLF stands for Kopyright Liberation Front, which is one of the recording names used by Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty when they worked together in the 80s and 90s (also Justified Ancients of Mu Mu as in my avatar)

I'm well aware that this is rapidly turning into the post of a music bore, so I'm going to stop myself now before I get into my flow too much! ;):D If you want to know more about them, however, Wikipedia's KLF entry is pretty good!
