So close... & just lucky that it missed.

:whew::o

Bloody hell :o

She didn't seem too bothered though despite the fact she nearly got knocked sparko :no:

It's just as well she did, but I wonder what made her duck  :o

Gaz

Saw something similar though an artic oneday driving out of our estate. Guy with a highsided trailer with side opening rear "gate" full of lawn cuttings and movers.

he hadnt clasped the gate closed, as he went over a speed bump the gate swung open and came within mm of splitting a guys head open on the footpath :no: only he looked up from his fone and saw it coming it was a smack straight in the skull.

Tried flashing and blowing the thick **** out of it for 2miles to tell him, even jumped outa the car at the junction but he was pulled away too quick.. was lucky to have even gotten back behind him.

i hope the squad got him before he did hurt someone

There is every chance that she was centimeters from death there. A blow to the back of the head with such severity as a shipping container can give doesn't bear thinking about.

I only hope that the driver has seen the footage and realised his error so that he doesn't do the same again.

That was close  :whew:

Just wait until the extra long trailers get more common.  The rear overhang can be 4 metres!  They are no longer talking about 'rear sweep', they are talking about 'rear kick' it's that much more violent.  That would have wiped out the shop front, never mind the pedestrians.
