My Octavia supposedly has a passenger side airbag, and indeed airbag is written on the dash in front of the passenger seat. What puzzles me is the dash is solid, with no sign of any 'hatch' for an airbag to emerge from. My wifes feista has an obvious hatch, even the picture of the Octavia dashboard in the cars manual shows such a hatch.

So where does the actual passenger airbag come from?

There is a hatch there but it is covered by the material.
