Skoda Octavia II Radio Antenna tip broken from back of radio

Featured Replies

Hi there, I am a complete newbie so forgive me if this has already been solved somewhere. But I haven't managed to find anything on my problem.

I used this forum alongside some youtube clips to replace the CD changer port in the original Skoda Radio for an AUX cable, it is working great and I am very happy with it.

However as I was putting my stereo back in, I dropped a screw and had to fish it out of the stereo.

As I got the screw out, I heard a small click sound and realised the tip of the radio antenna that goes into the back of the stereo had broken off.

In certain positions, if held the radio will work and pick up signal.

As such I was wondering if there was anything that I could do to fix it.

Many Thanks
