When i do a flush on a very suspect engine i buy the Cheap oil of the correct grade and put that in, heat and run and drain and dump.

or use Flush. Only i never have used 'Flush'.

You do want a Oil Change and if going Fixed Servicing 5w 40 Full Synthetic (VW502 00) could be advantageous for a good running 1.2TSI.

The Technician doing it might say stick with 5w 30 Full Synthetic Long Life (VW504 00).

Ask them, & the Flush is only is the price of a gallon of fuel or so, so maybe have it done if he / she recommends.

Heya, one thing I noticed with a full size spare was that the pin from the Skoda spare kit doesn't fit it (bolt is too short). One from a Mk I Octavia or Leon/Toledo fits as the bolt is longer.

Odd, have you the wheel with the outside face up,

they fit fine IME with the full size alloys with the face down and the Tool / jack in the wheel.

The one I bought is perfect from Sandcliffe Skoda I think. Got a Polo 5 stud wheel in mint condition with as new tyre 195/55/15 from a breaker for £48 delivered. Very happy as it all fits a treat and I am happy I now have a proper spare
