Injectors same/different?

I can't take my eyes off Wales to trawl through parts catalogs just now though.

Let me know when you get a chance to check :P

As Tech1e says above, the engine's the same. I did look at injectors; and CAYA, CAYB and CAYC all have same part number.

Would think insurance companies would get more edgy ( expensive ) tuning a 75 to 150 rather than a 105.

They MAY be identical, but who expects logic from them?

^ Sadly, despite the lack of logic, that's  probably true too.

Perfect, must be a pretty good engine if left at 75bhp. Must have plenty of life and reliability in it.

If you can check, are the turbos all the same as well?

Thank you :p

Well that's it then, they are exactly the same, engine block with same turbo, intercooler, exhaust and injectors.

Makes me feel better anyway, thanks for the replies and help, I'll be back in a few weeks with a project thread ;)

Youll be back next week with 500bhp ☺️☺️

Ive spoke to derv tech about the 1.6 tdi. They confirmed just uses a different map either one will map upto around 150ish.

In still supposed by that, it's quite amazing really, a good shock if you take one to get remapped and expect power from 75bhp to 90bhp or something to find out its 150! Which should be quite nippy I'd imagine.

Still, I'll be upgrading and getting a custom map to see what I can get with a CR170 turbo, large FMIC and hard pipe kit and some exhaust work.

I've mine remapped larger yeti intercooler dpf still in place and it's at 130bhp now going to fit a yeti 2.0 Tdi 140bhp turbo as soon as I get one to swap out for a new one 150 to 170 I'm lead to believe

Was the Yeti intercooler a direct fit?

Was the Yeti intercooler a direct fit?

To be honest it took a bit of work to get pipe work sorted but otherwise it seemed to go in easy enough few mods to intercooler removed side mounting lugs and secured it through mounting holes in front panel
