Which is the size of the OE fitment ?,as mine does not clear the screen properly due to the compound curvature of the screen .

Thank you simspj ,mine measures 15 3/4 " (400mm) ,does the small difference make the difference!!? Also what make are the OE ,and are there any recommendations out there?

Yeah it will make a difference as the top or the rear screen is curved and it won't clear the top part as the blade won't bend that far. I get these from ebay and last me 12 months, and never have any judder or smeering until the end of their life. Thats how I guage they need changing.
