Alarm System

Featured Replies

Hi, I'v looked at the info on here about why my alarm is not sounding - as mine is only flashing lights at mo - and checked the fuse, FC35. It has a 20A in mine though in the manual it states, FC35 - alarm - 5A.

Would this stop the alarm from sounding and should I change it? I saw info about the switch on the B column that turns the interior sensor on and off.    Any help welcomed.

Although my 2006 model still functions, I've read the internal battery can leak and destroy the alarm circuitry on older cars.

Maybe yours is just flat, the battery can be diy replaced or you can replace the whole alarm unit.

Thanks I'll look into that.

More than likely a dead siren.

Yep, I'm not a betting man but I'd have a tenner on the batteries in the siren being dead.

It's easier just to buy a new siren.

Common complaint.
