That is it.

The car should have been serviced according to the Service Schedule / Guidelines and not be Modified, ie Remapped.

You can just go by what you know and put in the registration and the cover you want.

I do not have the link to the Warranty Application.

What do you think they would make of lowering springs?

The would just invalidate the suspension warranty but the engine warranty would still be OK and all other warranty

Fine with me, my only concerns are with the twin charger and DSG. I only ask as mine is booked in later this month and wasn't sure wether I could get away with out putting the original springs back on.

it actually quoted me £360 For a 1 year online with Skoda warranty, being 2010 cave and no warranty last 3 years didn't think would get a quote. The small print is 'known design issues' - not covered! Was looking to cover the timing chain + tensioner & DSG. When I phoned nobody could tell me what was covered and what wasn't - just fill out & pay - useless.....

They do not mean Known Fundamental Design & Manufacturing and material and component choice and Quality Control issues that VW never accept they have.

They could not sell you a Skoda Warranty on a Mk2 Fabia vRS if that was the case, they would be mis-selling like PPI etc.

The mean you have a broken car and then buy a Warranty and then claim on what was known as broken.

DSG failures and some Dealerships try saying the Clutch Packs are treated as a Manual and not covered, they wish.

as to other failures on parts under warranty just get them to send the T&C's and what Exclusions there are etc.

Have in writting before you buy.

A modified Engine or Engine Management from Factory Standard ie Remap will Void the warranty,

so if there has been on the ECU or is then maybe not worth buying a Warranty.
