Hi All.

Today a mate told me I had a fly in my interior light in the rear of my hatch octy.

How do you remove the light? And how do you separate the light? Or how much is a new light?

I used to be a trim fitter at work so have a good idea what I'm doing with trim, but don't want to just pull on it if there's a specific way to do it.

id suggest a hammer! ;)

I've got a large dead moth underneath one of my brakelights at the back- no idea how to get it out- im almost considering giving it a name

Well, that's generally positive - yet another "simply clever" feature ;')

For instructions - go to repair manual fixed thread and look for electrical installations manual. Find "repair group 96" - that's for interior lights.

is this the front light?

Easy job, just check my video. Probably it's easier with two hands.  :giggle:

You don't have to separate the parts the fly will simply fall out. :)

Thanks Aki and wlange!

It was the second row interior light

Simon, I've not had a look but I'd guess there's some form of plugs and filament bulbs, if you remove a bulb could you get a hoover (other brands available) attachment in there?
