condensation on outside of windscreen

Featured Replies

I've got a 2016 fabia which is basically a new mark II. In this hot weather I've been having trouble with condensation on the outside of the wndscreen when I've got the blowers on the windscreen. It's interfeering with my vision and if I wipe it away it just blurs the view because the whole windscreen isn't wet. Amyone else having a problem witht this or know how to stop it. Obviously I need the blowers on to keep the inside clear. Thanks.

Don't have so much air blowing on the windscreen.

It stands to reason that if you cool the windscreen down the warm moist air is going to condense on the outside.

I don't see why you would need to have it on the window anyway, its not going to mist up as the air inside the car will be dry regardless of whether its blowing on the screen. If you stick it on auto the majority will come out of the vents when set to cool

Do you have a MK3 Fabia? there is a Mk3 Section.

Have you got dampness in the interior, and are you using the A/C to get the cars interior  dry?

Do you need to clean the exterior glass and use White Vinegar or similar to get any coatings off?
