How to keep the clock on?

Featured Replies

When I leave the car parked, what usually happens is that on display I will end up with temperature instead of the clock, so every time I have to press the left button to change it back to clock. Is there a way to have clock as default? Mine is a plain edition, without the pack of electronic gadgets.

Looks like I'm the only one with this problem. Or perhaps it's the same for all.

I've got a 2016 Skoda Citigo SE L, and I have the same thing. As soon as I switch the car off, the trip computer display switches back to temperature. It's annoying but I've not found anything that says you can change the start up function.

Yes, I find this annoying too!

I've found in both our new car and the 65 plate Up! I've had as a courtesy car that every so often the clock does stay on after leaving and locking the car..... I thought there was maybe a time delay of maybe a few minutes etc where by if you restart the car in that limit it stays on the clock???

You must be able to do it as mine always starts up with the clock. I have not altered anything since buying the car. It came like that.

Not sure if this will work, but worth a try,

Turn the ignition on then depress and hold the selection switch and turn off again????

i agree. this is the most annoying thing. i'm in and out of my car all the time and am usually late so need to see the clock to see how far behind i am. so every time i have to press the stupid button. it's driven me crazy!

happily Dilligaff is right. turn the engine on, it will display temp, press it once so it displays the time, then press and hold for about 8s. first it will flash to say you can change it, ignore that and keep holding it. after a few more seconds it will stop flashing. release it, turn it off and on again and you should have the time as the default setting.
