From page 249 of the owner's manual:

Permissible trailer loads, braked: 1800 kg

Permissible trailer loads, unbraked: 750 kg

If you passed your test before 1996 or whatever it is you should be fine. IF it was after than you can't exceed the weight of the car

I'm just quoting the technical details from the manual. Licencing varies somewhat from country to country and it's up to the driver to make sure they're appropriately licenced.
