Goodyear efficient grip performance!

Just bought another set of Michelin PS3s for my diesel.

Some great deals on uniroyal rainsport 3 atm. Highly recommend these. Try Camskil.

Vredstein ultrac vorti or sessanta but they may not be available in your size.

+1 for Uniroyal Rainsport 3's, try Camskill as I've just bought a pair for £51 each side 225/40/18 92Y FR XL, a bargain!

I bought 2 days ago 4 Goodyear efficient grip performance tyres "205/55/16" from Halfords,  52£ each including fitting

Goodyear Eagle F1. Best tyre I've ever used and worth paying the extra bit of money for imo.

Another one for this tyre. Just had a couple fitted to the front of my car and very impressed with the wet weather grip.

What are people's opinions on the new Avon ZV7, it comes as an A rated tyre for wet weather handling

I have these fitted on my Leon and i agree very very good tyre wet or dry but quite expensive. My son has just bought 2 uniroyal rs 3's for his car ( mk 4 Golf ) and he's raving about them!!

Michelin Pilot Sport 4's on mine. Lasting really well, good steering feel and very quiet.

Michelin pilot sport 4' s on mine replaced mps 3's very impressed been on six weeks so far £102. Be getting a good test next week when we drive to south of France

"universal" tyre Continental Wintercontact T800-850...if you pushe them really hard in corners, they bend and wear in 8k km. Normal driving 15-30k km. Best wet grip for 50EUR I've ever had. Maybe with higher speed index, it may deform less. Normal tyres gone after 2000km in my case.

If you can push it hard...Yokohama C.drive 1-2...I've never seen such a good tyre for 50EUR ;-)

I can tell you more after suspension upgrade. I've got about 10k on those tyres...speed index W...those tyres refuse to deform at 0.7G cornering forces and start to slide at 0.75G. Wet grip similar to Conti. Furthermore...if you love rally hand-brake style, you can't destroy Yokohama. Continental...well I've one set of tyres in garage and they are not perfect arc anymore you know what I mean. One hand-brake fun and tyre is gone

Well, sure you can pay for "premium" tyres but only Japanese can really make cheap high quality stuff. Rest is over-marketed pish.

Goodyear efficient grip performance!

+1 but as an all round tyre. And theeco stuff isn't snakeoil, I got another 3mpg with them on my VRS.

The sidewalls feel a bit soft so if you're looking for something that makes the steering sharp etc it might not give the feel you want.
