I always liked push start/keyless systems when I have had them in rental cars, but I have a heard a few things around reduced security vs a good old key. If that's the case, then I am Ok keeping my key!

Yes, child's game to open your car by just sitting next to you in a store/cafe/etc. It does not hack, just amplifier of your own signal on longer distance. Need to people to achieve. I'm happy mine has no KESSY with it...

I like my key. For one thing, the ignition gives you somewhere to put the keys when you're driving the car.

My mrs' car has got keyless start but to open the car you still need to use the button on the fob. Who on earth came up with that useless feature I've no idea. Either do both or neither, Ford, you bunch of gimps.

I end up chucking the keys in the centre console and then when I leave the car, I invariably leave the keys in it and only realise when I've walked about 200 yards.

Other times I spend about ten seconds scrabbling around the right hand side of the steering column trying to remove a key that isn't there.

I don't like it and it doesn't like me.

Back on topic, I'd have had a reversing camera if they were fitting them at the time. Only £300 and is useful and also makes you look flash.

I'm kind of regretting not ordering the electric seats but to be honest I'm already cringing with the bill on my Scout. I've got sunroof and about all the other options!. So what's not to enjoy. Never happy enough haha. Just hope all is well in first week of September when I pick it up. Need someone to help me tripple check all options present and correct when I do lol.

How is the keyless entry system thing? Is it worth getting? is it worth the money?

It always seemed like a security issue.

It took a few months to get used to, but I love it now, hate having to get my keys out of my pocket when I'm driving the wife's car.  It works slightly differently to other manufactures - locking and unlocking with sensors on the handles.  No issues with accidently locking child in the car etc.

Really just heated seats, that was the one luxury that I would have liked but couldn't get at the time, other things would have been nice but where do you draw the line! As for the fitted sunroof, maybe nice in theory but I had a look this week at an Octavia L & K in a local dealers which had the sunroof fitted, well I have to say that it pretty much took away all of the headroom from the car and forced me to lower the seat so far down that I felt I was sitting on the floor! Obviously depends upon your height but I couldn't personally live with that particular sunroof.

I added the following to my TSI VRS manual

Folding mirrors (you can add without electric seats)

Full leather

Black design pack

Winter pack (seats/windscreeen)

sunset glass

smart link.

Kessy

I'm happy with everything I went for and only wish I'd added the 19 inch extremes as the looks has grown on me.

I think KESSY is super cool and a must have, smart link is good as google maps kick the built in sat navs arse but I think it should be free on the VRS considering its free in the fabia.

I do somtime wish I had the DSG when I'm in traffic but my mind changes when I'm rallying around the country side :sun:

I have ordered the heated seats if that's what you meant (with the winter pack) but I meant the electric seats so they move with button presses rather than the manual leaver knob options, I will be ok with the sunroof with the headroom though.

Wish I had included a quality control check
