Skoda roomster rear pads

Featured Replies

Fitting pagid rear pads on my roomster. Just cant wind my caliper back far enough to fit them. Need to go at least another 5mm. Using rewind tool but just keeps turning.

No overflow on brake reservoir.any ideas?

I had the same problem, in the end I gave up put the old pads back as ran out of time. The next week gave it another go and the pistons did go back but still not easily.

I don't think I will let the rear pads get too low before replacing again.

So long as you're happy to rebleed them, clamp the pipe and release the bleed nipple.

Finally sorted out rear pads after i got calipers moving! I was surprised that there was no overflow of brake fluid after fitting new pads? However brakes seem to be working fine. Saved a packet. Was quoted just short of £100 to have job done. It cost me £13 for pads from euro car parts and £7.50 for brake caliper rewind tool from ebay. Well pleased! Replace fuel filter next!
