I bought a 3 month old Superb from a Dealer who had installed a Road Angel Halo in the vehicle.

I had booked my car in for warranty job as the DAB radio had really poor reception. This morning I disconnected the Dash Cam and the DAB radio worked much as I thought it should so the Dash Cam must be interfering with the DAB signal.

I haven't cancelled the warranty booking yet but has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a way round it? Ideally I would like to use both the radio and the Dash Cam.

I remember reading that the 12v causes dab interference when used, as you guessed. Someone wrote this recently somewhere on this forum, and others confirmed.

I used a cheap 12v to USB adapter and that played havoc with the radio reception. How is your dashcam powered?

I have both in mine - dash cam hard wired - and no clash between them at all.

Been following this guide which has been very helpful. Problem I'm having is with the fuses. I don't have a 15 amp fuse fitted in slot 41, there's none fitted but my rear wiper works.

I've compared my fuse layout to the the pictures here and its different.

Any suggestions which fuse slot to use instead?

Sorry I have no idea I'm afraid as it was installed by the Skoda dealer. When I picked the car up it was there and it worked but other than that .....

I'd take it back to the dealer who installed it and show them what they've caused with their wiring attempt.
