Hey!

I made to one of the Octavia model year 2015 change, which tested the functionality of DRL lights turn signal light is switched on (as shown below Aside) but the owner did not want the lights to work in this way, and I do not remember the original settings of these items. We tried to restore your settings to factory settings, but the problem was not resolved. The problem is that the 0-position and the AUTO position DRL lights are on, but the parking and low/high beams DRL is off. Does anyone know how these pre-mentioned points are the original settings?

Did you use VCDS? If you did then VCDS saves a log file of the previous and changed values for every change you make to coding and adaptation channels.

 

The problem is that the 0-position and the AUTO position DRL lights are on, but the parking and low/high beams DRL is off.

 

AFAIK that's the default factory setting for the DRLs.

The car owner said, that before the change the drl-lights were on in every light positions that there is in the car.

Does it get fixed, when we code drl lights again to the car, or is there some other solution for the problem?

By default VCDS saves the log files in the folder \Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug. One is called AdpLog and one called CodingLog

 

In recent versions it saves them as a .csv file with all the changes listed by date & time.

Which is where I got the information from to do this change on my Octavia :notme:

 

It seems V3lmu's problem was that he didn't make a note of the previous settings, and didn't know about the logs that VCDS keeps either - so when he tried to revert he couldn't :rofl:
