Detailing trading name help

Featured Replies

Ok guys n girls

I'd like your help on suggestions for company names for my detailing business. Without getting bogged down in knowing if these names are already registered with Companies House etc I'd appreciate any names thrown into the mix.

I obviously want the words Detail or detailing as part of the name, probably with a prefix to reflect the business.

I'd also appreciate any general advice from those in the know about naming a business, the do's n don'ts.

Off the top of my head I'd thought of

Perfect Detail

i4 Detailing

Dynamic Detail

Thanks in advance!!!! Crate of beer to the person who finds me a name!!!!!

Forget i4detailing, that's already in use. I'd try and incorporate your name with the word detail or detailing, it will give you a better chance of originality whilst also giving it a personal touch.

I agree with the personal touch but if you want more generic how about Freedom Detailing. Your business name is part of your brand so should reflect the market you are working in such as high end vfm etc

Have a look at what your competitors are marketed as and think based on this it may give you some inspiration or ideas on how you can stand out. Personally I wouldn't go for anything humorous as it may put people off (me!) as it doesn't give that professional image plus it dates very quickly

Good luck for the future

Thanks one and all for taking time out to reply. Some food for thought.....keep the suggestions coming!

Smallest detail.....Finest Detail.....Minute Detail????

More research needed......I like those already named as Magic Detail, Miracle Detail and Forensic Detail....they give a great image and are easy to remember for customers.

Personal Touch

It was used as reference to what the name should have, but it strikes me it's a good name in itself if it isn't taken. [Your name]'s Personal Touch, Personal Touch (Pro) Detailing, or similar?... Actually feck off, I actually like that so I want it now. Shame I'm not a detailer. :D

Ha ha! It does now you've said it! I'd like to get a name that explains what the business is and/or what the customer will receive.....this is proving tougher than I imagined......crate of beer still waiting!

Ideal Detail?  iDeal Detail?

You could always try your luck like a hand wash local to my mum did. Their sign proudly proclaimed 'The best hand job in town!' for several months... until the puritanical council made them take it down.  :notme:  :D

Just might have a bearing on the name if your place of work was fixed,

If you had premises say on West Park Street, West Park could be in the name, punters will know where you are,
