I have a 16 plate octavia vrs230 TSI DSG, loving it. Has anyone else noticed a bleeping noise coming from the bonnet when the car has been driven and is hot?

Have heard it a couple of times now and it seems to come from the left hand side.

 

Any ideas?

Mine does the same I thought is was just the electric coolant pump keeping things cool.

I have it on my 1.8tsi.

It makes a beepish noise while the coolant still circulates. Although I have no idea why it beeps.
