So I've had the vRS in for its service last Saturday, all looked fine I didn't drive it for the rest of the day then Sunday I drove about 15 miles to Sittingbourne and the tyre pressure warning light pinged up, I thought it was rather odd considering it's only just been serviced and it had checked down as good tyre pressure, but now I've just popped to the shopping centre and it's nearly always quiet round my road I can hear a faint sound coming from the front drivers-side tyre specifically, kind of like the noise when you hear a car go past with a near-flat tyre but it is NOT flat, I've checked it all the way around and there is nothing stuck in the treads, out of curiosity I went and checked the pressure of the tyres and they're all perfectly fine pressure-wise so on the way home I slowed down and checked and the sound is STILL there and it really has me stumped, any ideas guys?

Split in the sidewall, bulge in the sidewall, tread delaminating, anything like that?

Slow, puncture? Maybe take of the wheel and put in some water see if you can trace air escaping

So when the technician checked your tyre pressures did he / she also put in some more air and then not reset the TPMS?

Did you check and reset?

 

Best look at the inside tyre walls incase damage was done during the roadtest at the service.
