fabia mk1 estate suspention advice

Featured Replies

Can anybody help me i need some advice on lowering my 05 fabia estate i can find loads of kits for the hatch back and saloons that go to around 50mm as once i put 16's on i would like to get the wheel arch close to the top of the tyres im not looking to tuck them in or got sump scraping but im struggling to find such kits for the estate my main question is are the estate's suspension the same as the hatch back and saloons? Can i buy a 50mm kit for a hatchback and fit it on my estate? Cheers guys.

If you are looking to get the wheel close to the arch you will need coil overs. If that is the case then the same lots suit the hatch/combi/sedan

Ok brillant i will widen the search search to the full mk1 fabia range cheers for the help

You can use HR to get a much tigher gap between wheel and top of arch, than the sides....they are about as low as you can expect on springs.

I actually am thinking of taking mine off if its any good to you, I was thinking of even swapping with someone with eibachs to be honest. They are more aggresive than eibachs which just look about normal.

Its insurance that really strikes me about putting on the standards as the quote hassle annoys me.

It transforms the handling though so I would probably regret but the comfort wouldn't be too bad and neither would the hassle free insurance.

I wouldn't use vRS springs on a non vRS.
