Yep! It can be Tesco Sunflower Oil as long as it meet VW 507.00 criteria...

Best keep it original especially for just £22 delivered.
 

I'd stick with the trusted brands..... and personally use Shell Helix Ultra ECT C3 5W30, but as noted as long as the weight and complies with the VW spec you'll be fine. 

I just buy the drivetec stuff from the motor factor, used it for ages with no ill effect
