Celtic Tuning - Result

Featured Replies

Hi folks

I posted a while back giving Graham and Celtic a hard time, well I need to start eating humble pie :)

He got back in touch and today turned up on the button and checked my car over and flashed the latest map up to my ECU. All of this was done gratis, due to some of my previous niggles over comm's customer service etc.

Firstly, Graham was great today and we all shook hands and are friends again, the map on the car is very very impressive. The car is smooth as silk now without any major "brutal" peaks in the power and it pulls right into the redline without any problems. I reckon this is going to be nigh on a perfect map for the fabia once the ECU has re-learnt my driving style.

I owe Graham an appology for being just a little to vocal about the service side of life and really have got to praise him for the job he did today. Without any doubt this current map is excellent, and I am going to get onto the rollers at Awesome asap as they are local to me and will post the graph.

So if your after a remap, I am making a major U-turn here, then for the price and the convenience then don't hesitate to give Graham @ Celtic a call. I am seriously impressed...

Cheers

I will let you know once it has been on the rollers MIL, the bum dyno reckons around 160+ @ the wheels, but I must admit that after christmas my bum dyno is somewhat in need of a re-calibration :D :D

Will speak to awesome and arrange a rollers session then we will know, feels good so far though.

Chips must be selling well!! Leather last week, remap this !!

Not quite, i had my remap back in june last year, just had a couple of tweaks done.

Speaking of which:-

Just been out playing, making final preparations to tomorrows BMW slaying day, and have found the new map to be sooooooo much smoother. Might be placebo, but feels alot stronger mid range too.

IS this 'new smoother' map from Celtic the one they are now offering?

I'm very tempted as the price is excellent

Glad you got it sorted mate (especially after our minor tiff over Celtic on the previous thred you referred to), I think for the cash and the fact the jobs done on the drive you can't beat them for value.

Well after following shifty home yesterday I can say the new maps smokes less then before :D

Im glad you noticed that mate, I was wondering.

Im very pleased with the smoother map, doesnt seem to have lost any power, but with much more progressive acceleration, rather than ripping the tyres off in every gear. Pulls stronger to 130 now :D

Was this 'tweak' to your map done FOC by Graham?

It was indeed. Really a very good bloke to deal with.

And the map + sticky tyres, saw a new st focus off last night :D

Have you been on the rollers yet Fluff'?

Hijacking my own thread ... :)

No m8, unfortunately got other priorities @ the moment, some bunch of toerags in Manchester have just gone under owing my company a "large" sum of money. Over the last few days I have been trying to work out a survival plan, part of which means I am not going to be paying myself for a couple of months as I have a couple of staff to look after.

It's possible I may have to sell the fabia to put some money into the company to go someway to bridging the gap. Since Christmas things have been a bit crap, got diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer, then these manc f&^&^)"* going bankrupt owing us

Sorry to hear the bad news m8. When things are bad, they can only get better! I know....

Sorry to hear all that mate. Can't imagine what you must be going through. Hope things sort themselves out and feel free to vent anytime

**** and I though I've had a bad week.

Sorry to here about all this mate. Hope the future gets brighter.
