swirl flaps Superb 1.8 tsi

H All, So torque setting established and timing chain tensioner replaced all was looking good and running well. However I'm getting a MIL and error code P2008 which I believe relates to the swirl flaps in the inlet manifold. Has anyone had experience on repairing these or fitting a delete kit? I cant get to the car before Saturday so I'm not sure which element of the swirl flap mechanism may have failed so any views before then would be welcome. I've found plenty of 2.0 tsi kits referenced but not much on the 1.8s.
