Service Costs

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just booked the car in for it's first service in a couple of weeks time and the dealer is charing £20 over the Skoda price on the website.

Having said that they are doing a collect and deliver about 20 miles from the dealership.

Is this normal / allowed? Skoda website suggests dealers aren't allowed to charge above the listed prices.

Read the T&C's at the bottom of those websites, does it say Participating Dealership, cars over 3 year old etc.

If you want a better price then ask for it.

If you do not want a Vacuum & Wash say so. If they are charging for Environmental disposal of Oil & Filter tell them they are having a Joke.

They service cars.

If you do not want Washer Fluid top it up yourself and say 'No washer Fluid' please.

I had my Octavia Scout DSG serviced ( 2nd @ 20,000mls ) a couple of weeks ago at Rainworth Skoda with a pick up and return from home for £210

It was also very well cleaned inside and out, I was happy with them.
