My bro in law has just got 2016 Superb estate and for Xmas I was going to get him a boot tray...until I found out the official Skoda one appears to be £165!!!!

Has anyone found a cheaper alternative that does the job?

I've had http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191726530384 sat in my fleabay watch list for a while but haven't put my hand into my pocket yet. I'm still using the Halfords cut-to-size one that I had in my Octavia.

I bought the double sided mat for my Estate but it seems you are suggesting a tray

Thanks for the link...looks interesting. Can I just ask...it mentions the boot floor being in the higher position - is the boot floor adjustable? (Sorry, don't know much about Superbs!)

I don't own a superb (yet) 

 

I *think* the Superb estate is similar to my Leon in that it has a variable/adjustable boot floor.  Lower for more height/space and higher for a flatter load bay (no lip between floor and boot opening).  I bought the boot liner suited to how I usually have the boot set (higher position).  The liners are tailored to the boot shape and ultimately that shape will change depending on what level you use.   

 

I can still use the liner with the boot in the lower position it's just not a perfect fit.  

I looked at these also.. However as i use the under storage a lot it seems a bit pointless as I would lose that simple access

Otherwise if you use one of those search engines (use boot mat or boot tray) then you will find plenty to choose from. I have used companies like carmats4u who supply reasonable boot trays for about £40. They are not as heavyweight as the more expensive ones but they do the job, dont smell of rubber and look OK.

the plastic skoda boot liner is listed on superskoda  as €64.99.   I have one in  my superb and find it excellent.
