Skodalover's Briskoda Calling Card

Featured Replies

Credit for this goes to Chris (Skodalover)

I am merely the link between IT and all YOU lot. :D:thumbup:

I think it looks smart and shall be keeping half a dozen in my wallet from now on.

Obviously requires Adobe Acrobat or another pdf reader to view & print (is there another one? :D)

Magic, shall carry a few as well ! Looks really good:thumbup:

As said on another post, don't go printing out too many of these, as the design will be revisited shortly... but will serve well as a stop gap!

Thanks again Jason for hosting them!

Excellent Chris, we kinda needed something after Gaff's supply ran out! :D

Very generous of him...;)

Cool, there really good

Unfortunately I could never carry them in my car for fear of friends finding them

The PDF would be nicer if you could type who the card has been left by, rather than having to hand-write it in ... but very nice apart from that. :)

I think we would need a MS Word version to do that, but maybe Jason/Chris could sort it

Hell - gets your company name around a bit more. ;):D

Edit: I like hand writing it in. Gives it a personal touch.

If I produced the cards in 'Word', you (the end user) would need the correct fonts on your machine, where as a pdf embeds them into the file, so everyone gets the same results... The only way to do it in word would be to rasterize the pdf and turn the whole thing into an image, which is less than ideal :thumbdwn:

I agree with Jason anyway, hand writing them in definately gives it the personal touch!:)

Chris

Or if the person had a copy of Illustrator or PageMaker, they should be able to write into the PDF using that :D

Or Acrobat Proffesional, Freehand, or Quark for that matter... I'll send them the original artwork.................................... I was designing for the average joe...

lol - I know mate, good job

But I don't know who this 'average joe' is that you speak of ;)

Steve

I use my own cards that I made myself :D

Printed a bunch of them, will laminate shortly (post-signing ;) ) and drop some in the car.

If a new one comes out I'll just print some more hehe
