I had not seen it, so others may also have not had the pleasure.

Gerry - is that 600 whp? Because if it's flywheel hp no-one cares as it's clearly a load of old rubbish ;)

IIRC 'VAG-TECH' in Milton Keynes have an E.I.P turbo'd R32 demo car, as seen at the Tuner GP last year.

Arr but no but ya but it depends who's rollers they are on cos as you know young Dave there are some unscrupulous tuners out there.

Still impressive. And its a great link - post it up as often as you like!

I'm confused  (easily done)

Thats an R32 yeah, but R32's are 4WD, how have they got it on a 2WD dyno?

If they have simply disconnected the prop shaft, then once it's all back together and out on the road the actual wheel horespower will be lower due to the extra drivetrain losses associated with the 4WD system?

Doesn't detract from the fact it's awesome of course!! I might have to buy my mates R32 and have it turbo'd after seing that!!

I want a Bora V6 - only  2.8, but still 200bhp as standard, with leather and all the toys, an under 3 year old example with warranty and 30k miles can be had for under

Pulled the fuse for the Haldex control unit, hey presto 2WD.

Mr Goochie,

One must understand that Gerry is getting on a bit now and is not in complete control of all his faculties.

Subtle as a air raid as usual, also if it was an IP map it would not count.

Ahh I see! wouldn't the ABS and ESP throw a wobbly as well though? or are they all easily disabled by throwing fuses as well?

They actually disconnect the plug on the haldex ECU. The figures are the same as what the car makes on the road as the prop is still spinning and as most RR runs are done in 4th the rear wheels wouldn't normally be engaged. So the losses are exactly the same.
