Does anyone know what the official/recommended positions for roof bars are on the estate.

 

I've had a look through the manual and can't seem to find anything.

 

On previous cars I've had there has been some kind of mark on the inside of the doors to indicate to where to position the roof bars but I can't see anything on the Superb.

 

Just got a set of these

 

Page 118 of the manual. It shows a picture of where to put them.

The only reference to roof bars I can find is this

 

 

but that is the saloon, I have the estate with fitted rails

 

This is my roof box fitted to My 190 estate, Thule wing bar as yours, No idea of any recommended position but can confirm these have been used for over 2000 miles, almost fully loaded and I have had no problem what so ever. No movement, noise or instability at all.
