Hi guys, I'm looking into getting vcds for my car and was wandering where to actually purchase it from. I have seen it advertised at £290 from Gendan, is this a genuine site? Or should I shell out the $600 fron ross-tech themselves?

Ross-Tech sell a number of different interface types, so check that you're comparing like for like on prices. It seems Ross-Tech have changed their range somewhat since I last looked at their site. If you can still buy a Micro-CAN interface from the resellers, that should suit your car fine and is the cheapest option (used to be $250 from Ross-Tech). It only works on CANBUS cars, so keep that in mind if you're looking to use it on other cars. The HEX-CAN-USB cable is much more comprehensive in terms of what it can be used on but costs more (used to be $350).

 

Of Ross-Tech's current range, the HEX-V2 is what you want. $199 provided you don't mind being limited to using it on 3 cars.

It's not a poplar thing to say on here, but use a copy off this guy.

Just don't expect any help on the Ross-Tech Forum if you buy a pirate copy  :devil:
