I fitted my 312mm brakes today, as i was lying underneath my car i noticed this:

Its right where the intercooler is and i think its possibly a boost pipe ?

What i'm concerned about is why is it leaking and secondly if its got that much oil on the pipe imagine what the inside if the intercooler is like :eek:

I had it serviced earlier this month by my local Skoda dealer and surely they should have noticed this :confused:

Anyone had this happen before ?

hmm i havent seen that on my car but i do know that a lot of oil go into the intake (guess the turbo is leaking to the boost-system) caus since fitting a Blowoff, my engine bay is all splattered with oil. And there where also oil in my boost pipes when i fitted it....

Hmm so its sounds like they generally chuck out oil then, can't be good thing in the long run can it ?

Yep, I concur... They all dribble a bit of oil from there. Nothing to worry about.

For a moment i thought my intercooler was knackered so i had to buy a FMIC from Forge

whayyy - i noticed exactly the same on mine last week when i fitted the splitter - i was worried but if it's normal then thats fine

Mine does it too. Noticed it as soon as i had it, now done 10k with no probs,don't panic!
