Hi guys -

I cant enable the alarm chirp on my new wagon, there IS NO OPTION in the menu :(

Anyone have any hacks to enable it lol!

If you don't have the option in the menu to enable, it sounds like you will need VCDS or similar to code it.

There was another post last year from a guy where he had swapped his vRS for the latest model year & this option was no longer available on the newer model.

 

If I remember correctly, the conclusion from the forum was that the module that makes the "bleep" was no longer present hence no option to enable it.

It wasn't available for my SE Sport either and vcds/obdeleven didn't enable it either :(

I've enabled it fine today on @Auric Goldfinger's VRS. The hardware is all there, you just have to know what you are doing LOL

Even after enabling it via OBDEleven, still not getting anything in the menu's etc.

 

I've got a MY17 SE Sport with the factory alarm, so assume it should be possible.
