No idea on lead-time yet but In was given an estimate of approx. 10 weeks...but may improve once the new year builds that were ordered prior to Xmas start filtering through.

So I'm kinda thinking the end of March.

That's sounds about right.  Have you driven a model with 19" wheels?  Are you happy enough with them given the state of our roads generally?  I would just be a little concern with 19" wheels and sports suspension on Irish roads!

I was told end of march delivery for my Sportline 280.

My outgoing car is a BMW 530D e60 on sports suspension and 19" wheels... I don't find the roads to bad to be honest in Ireland on such a setup... I did want to spec the Superb with DCC but other options took preference.

I find my car really comfortable on the 19" .no issues whatsoever, and some the roads we drive on would,nt be hectic at all. You still have a 40 profile on a 235 section tyre which is quite adaquate to retain comfort .

And I wouldn't consider the Sportline suspension " sporty " in nature as such, sure it's lower than standard but the damping is definitely tuned for comfort .I'd actually rather if it was a bit stiffer tbh.

That's good so.  I suppose its horses for courses really.  I had a 40 profile on my last Superb (225/40/18) and I had to change to a 45 profile as it was too harsh for me.  Even the 235/45/18s on my new one are just about okay for comfort but I still find them a little on the firm side at times.  Then again, there is no harm in a little firmness to get correct steering input and a decent feel for what the car is actually doing.

I haven't driven on 19's but I've had 18's on my current car for the last 6 years and never had an issue. Sure there will be a difference but as Sportline Bri mentioned above.....it's not massive...and the "sport" suspension is not exactly rock solid. So I think it should be OK. To be honest I hated the standard 18 Zeniths that come with it...and the only other option was the 19" Vega's...which look pretty good. So hopefully they drive as good as they look!!!!!

Any thing after a msport e60 on 19's will be a dream comfort wise... The lci e60 did have revised suspension which fixed the crashy drive but was still harsh... The 18 inch set up on RFT was harsh.
