Just a quick note to say "Thanks" to the many forum members who gave advice and assistance when asked - a friendly knowledgeable bunch, and I have appreciated being navigated through various niggles and enhancements.

I drove my 1.6 TDI Spaceback Elegance for 30K+ miles and it behaved really well, gave excellent fuel economy and has been a 100% reliable car.

Previous to that, another 70K+ in a 2.0 TDI Octavia, so have spent the last 100K+ in a Skoda.

Before moving to Skoda I drove a number of Suzukis, mostly 4x4s, and my wife has been running a Swift for the last 3 years and my daughter an Alto (both very good small cars).

I have just picked up a new Vitara, and first impressions are excellent.

Will miss the forum, but maybe back in the future - Who knows?
