'37 Skoda Popular 912 with two horse power to spare.

 

I don't think the Aston would even move with 29hp!

split screen beetle which supposedly you could get with a very basic 24bhp engine....

Car earlier than 1940 with more than 300hp.

 

Selfishly suggesting since I saw some utterly gorgeous stuff from the 20s when I was hunting for a low powered motor.

This is difficult, I have to wait about 10 years before I can have one of my first four choices!

 

I'll settle for my first car, a Wolseley 4/44 - with just 46bhp it's well under the power limit for my age.
