or a more classic and vintage;

@ColinD Ciroen DS, loevly car. My parents worked for a film producer a few years back who had a mint DS convertible in his barn along with a few other gems.

I remember watching an episode of 'The Garage' (Spanish garage that catered for Brit expats) replacing a suspension part on a Rolls Royce; the part had the Citroen logo stamped on it :D

Me being a more mature person it would have to be the Jaguar XK120 Type C, circa 1951-1953

Ferrari F40 - 1987. Released 3 years before I was born.

Wood & picket mini cooper S, would have had e-type but someone else has chosen that and I always loved the original mini.

Money no object, I would have a pre '87 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. (Ideally I would have one the same age as me but that's not the rules of this game).

Bugatti Type 73 C Monoposto

I would semi-cheat and pick a car I currently own (ford capri). If not a classic ferrari for sure, just which to go for: a 348, testarossa or a 275GTB.........sadly the F355 is a bit too new to meet the criteria :(

You should try MY problem of being stuck in the 'blower' Bentley era

Can be anything, I was just being hard on myself, otherwise I'd still be picking.

I'm going to go with the family thing as my late father had a Jaguar mk2 and I'm feeling sentimental.

seeing people post cars I had pictures of on my wall is making me feel old

Someone already chose the Carrera RS, so I'll have one of these:

. . and invited to a C Type weekend later in the year:

. . . but the car's too young!  My Triumph Street Triple amuses them!

Note to Colin: thanks for enabling us to post real pictures easily.

Thanks

I'd REALLY like a Rover 2000TC..........just never have to change the rear 'inboard' pads though

So many lovely cars here... you're going to hate what comes in part 2 of this tomorrow :) Yes I did forget to mention that bit ;)

And............................

Possibly a '67' Toyota 2000GT........................................'You Only Live Twice'.

Not near the same league, but I had a T reg Celica 1.6GT Twin Cam, in black, for a short while in my youth and although it was quite well used, it was a fantastic car to drive.

I swear my arse was no more than six inches off the ground when sat in it.

Also like blueR36 choice and mac11irl's Shelby Cobra.

Good point, well made. :)

I had an unexpected day and it threw me off.

I was going to go with either a mashup or another play on the age ;) I went on the age card again :)

Ooh, I dunno... Not that many I actually like.

I suppose a 1969 Dodge Challenger, simply because I like the engine sound. No other reason.

Failing that, I think I'm young enough for a Lamborghini Countach...

Well it would have been a '62 GTO (the '64 re-style is too new) but they're sooooo common.

Whereas this isn't...

Maserati-450S-Costin-Zagato-Coupe-3747_z

The only 450S Maser with Costin / Zagato body.

And its a lot faster than a GTO...

(I was born '74) so 1972ish BMW 2800CS or similar and turn it into a CSL replica
