OK I'm really confused now !
What are the best tyres for L&K estate (LOTS AND LOTS OF MOTORWAY MILES)

For the L&K we run P6000's reosnable grip, good wear rate, we do about 35000 a year in that car so economy is an issue

On the Octy 4x4 I have been running Toyos, Good grip, reosnably priced but IMO they wear quickly. When the car was running 250 bhp I got around 10000 to a set but they seemed to wear out on the edges first, car was 4 wheel aligneed by Power Station so it wasnt a tracking issue but I do tend to corner enthusiasticly

Climatronic fan not working - Octavia Mk2 2006

The fan for air conditioning and heater on my 2006 Octavia Mk2 L&K is not working. I have checked the fuses and they are OK. Does it have a relay that might have failed? I am hoping it is not the fan unit itself, as this seems to be peculiar to RHD models with climatronic and was discontinued by Skoda in 2022. (Part no. 1K2 820 021).

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Is the skoda scala slave cylinder concentric and located inside the gearbox for all models, or is it just the 1.5 engine which doesn't have it on the outside of hte gearbox? I'm seeing different reports about whether the gearbox needs to be removed to check or replace it on a 1.0 litre engine.

I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates. To date I have had: 2 replacement batteries (at my cost) then under Extended Warranty (now expired) 1 replacement negative battery lead (with sensor) 1 replacement alternator Symptoms (monitored with Ancel Battery Manager device and multimeter) Battery discharges in a few hours from 100% SoC /12.8v to around 65% then conti
