squeaking noise

Featured Replies

As title says when the car is stationary  and i turn the steering wheel clockwise theres a really loud rubbery squeaking noise. sounds like coming from wishbone area could not exactly sure. was originally thinking pas but that would be turning both directions rite?

Could it be something on the steering rack itself maybe?

When driving doesnt really happen, only when slow rite down again for slow turn...

any suggestions to check out???

From what ive read so far symptoms seem to point to tie rod end...outter

Possibly the top mount bearing seized.

Lift the wheels of the ground and see if it still does it. Best guess would be a top mounting seizing up.
