Intermittent wipe delay

In some markets variable intermittent wipers are an option. It would be great if a simple change of wiper stalks was all that was required but I suspect that coding/adaptation is required at least and possibly a new controller module.

Hmmmm that's a point...... The new 2017 car doesn't have variable intermittent wipe does it?

Does your wiper stalk have a movable switch across the top like this one?

Auto lights and wipers is an option on 2017 models. Here the slider on the stalk controls the auto sensitivity rather than intermittent period.

Might be worth a look on ETKA to see which stalks are available for earlier Citigos and Up!s.

From the manual: "Periodic wiping is dependent on the driving speed. The faster the driver is going, the more frequent the wiper action."

This won't be the case on cars with auto wipers and/or the switch on the top of the stalk, but is otherwise.

Every 7 seconds for our Citigo with no switch on the stalk. Haven't noticed much difference between stopped and going.
