After seeing several posts on here about the Superb coming with pistol washers I just thought I'd share that mine has come fitted with fan washers rather than pistol jets, which was a nice surprise at 0500 this morning.   Whether or not this is because: 

 

1.  I spec'd heated washer nozzles

2.  Stock/supply issues

3.  They've changed the spec slightly

 

I'm not sure but I'm pleased nonetheless.  FWIW my car was built in 2017 build week 3. 

 

I've also seen posts regarding the stock wipers/blades being crap; I've found the complete opposite - smear and noise free so far. 

My car has this also, it was built mid November. I don't have heated nozzles. I had been reading the threads about this and was expecting to have to change them when it arrived but I don't need to.

mine (built Oct 16) seem to have two main jets with a fan spray in between them, what type are these classed as?

Mine delivered Oct '16 has heated fan washers.

I also have the fan nozzles. SE Technology with heated jet option. Job saved.

 

Now, if only we could fix the truly awful rear jet.

Just had mine changed under warranty - much better now.

I have a set of heated washer nozzles if anyone would like them then please PM and we can arrange something.

 

They are from a Lamborghini Gallardo who's previous discovered that there's no direct relationship between personal wealth and driving ability. 

Got my car March 2016 fittted with pistol washers. Changed them for fan ones recently, coverage on the screen is so much better.
