Any help would be appreciated

Skoda Octavia Mk1 1.9 tdi       02 reg

I had a brakes warning light come on and have replaced both rear pads (front look ok) The light is still on and I can't see any wires etc on rear calipers or anywhere to indicate a sensor - so how do I get the light on the dash to go out please?

ALSO

I am in process of  changing rear ABS / traction sensor - the old unit was rusted in and snapped when trying to remove - so am about to drill out the hole. I can see on the new sensor in the packet that the hole that takes the locating pin has two flat sides - suggesting it can be moved / adjusted. How close should I set it in relation to the ABS geared unit on the wheel hub please, can I use any sort of suitably sized pin?   Any help on either item would be gratefullly received.  Thanks in anticipation. Matt

If your warning light is the pad wear light, there is only a wear sensor on the NSF inside pad, so you need to check that pad.

OTOH it may be the ABS light, and I don't know what the air gap is or how to adjust it.
