How big is the boot?

Featured Replies

Thinking of a possible change.  Not volume as this seems to be the only thing car mags seems to quote,  length x width x height (to roofline)  and to top of seats.  I do wonder why its so hard to get this information without physically measuring the vehicle.

Have a watch of this vid from around 30 mins in:

Height to rollo is 45 cm for 7-seater and 55 cm for 5-seater with Canton.

Thanks - I do wonder how they work out the volumes ;)    as 1.1m x 1.05m x .55m (the largest of the two numbers) ~620litres. not 720l I've seen.   I do wonder for some of these comparisons that they are comparing apples and pears.  (ie. to the seat top on some and to the roofline on others)

You forgot the height of the edition without a spare wheel. That one has 720 liters. Additionally there are some small compartments that must be calculated, too.

Yes I agree the volume figures are pretty pointless. Height is sometimes useful but it's mainly the length  and width that are important.

For me, the key things are can I get a 6 foot table in, my bike without taking the wheels off, or my airbed. Hopefully the latter will be a lot more comfortable in the kodiaq than the octavia with the huge step.

For me the height is also important because I always want to use rollo to hide things.
