Which new vrs colour

Featured Replies

I am about to order a vrs estate but finding it hard to pick which colour thatgoes best with the new headlights. It will have the black back. I really fancy the grey premier colour or red?But thinking silver might just suit the strange looking headlights better? Any thoughts welcome.......

There's only one choice in my opinion...meteor grey...think no further!

Black with black pack

or white with black pack...

Excellent choice, Meteor Grey, everyday,

The End

Go with what you think is the best for you. You will have to live with it. Colour really is a personal choice. I have my opinion on meteor grey and as the name implies best place for it is outer space.Blue is possibly the most saleable. I've had silver in a MK1 VRS which was ok given the choice of colours. A blue Mk2 and a green Fabia vrs S2000 limited edition and a MK3 Vrs in green. Green is always a head turner WTF but blue seems to be my friends and colleagues favourite.

Race Blue is a loverly colour but since it is no longer exclusive to the Vrs range the colour has been spoilt.( My opinion )

Meteor grey is exclusive to the Octavia Vrs and the Fabia MC and it's a talking point  " Why have they not painted your car "

* Other models and colours are available *

Meteor is something I find strange. There are quite a few here in the colour and it's one of those where you don't really notice the dirt until you've cleaned it again.

I was disappointed with Rallye green in the metal. I was expecting something to jump out at me and it just didn't. My octy is Quartz grey and I really like it - it's elegant and understated but doesn't show the dirt. I would personally avoid silver, simply because I want to stand out a little, and if I had the option now, I'd probably go either corrida red or meteor. Black would not come into it as it's a pig to keep looking good. Red wouldn't be much better but it's cheap and though it's brash it's also rare as a result. I can understand Meteor every day. You're an extrovert? What message you want to give with the car?

(I wouldn't personally do race blue, but that's just me).

He he now then Morris!! My current colour is white, I think black would look the best with the new headlights, but never again!! Some colours look better than others with the new nose.

I think the darker the better to hide the new headlights

Black or the dark grey

I ordered mine in meteor grey without ever seeing one in the flesh...

When it arrived on a delivery truck, I honestly had mixed feelings, but I really like it now and glad I went for it. The black pack is essential to make it work though, IMHO.

It's a strange colour, looks different in different lights and awesome when clean. When dirty, it hardly shows due to the 'natural cement' colour :D

I'd really love to see one with a matt wrap.

I also ordered my Meteor Grey without seeing one. Needs the Black pack Plus to compliment the grey. The Panoramic Sunroof suits the roof as well

Oh...........have I mentioned the black spoiler

Love my red Skoda, but if had a choice having seen it in the flesh (so to speak) meteor grey is what I would be driving instead!

Oh yes.

If only!! :-(

My avatar...nuff said.

I have a Meteor Grey vRS and it's a very individual colour, however just like Subaru rally blue it's not long before they all start copying. Audi use it and Ford & Mini have similar grey colours in their range.

Colour choices are not great IMHO.

The problem is the 18" wheels/tyres are tooooooooooooo skinny. The Audi alloys would look superb on the vRS.

Oh yes.

That, right there, is my dream car - if money was no object, I would have that over anything else.

If I could only have 1 car for any occasion, I would have to agree! There's something very appealing about its blend of practicality and performance; probably similar to how we appreciate the Octavia VRS.

OFF-TOPIC: Not so long ago, there was a 3.0TSI A6 built as an RS clone for sale here in Finland. I went as far as starting to count money ;)
