How to fix broken wear pad sensor

Featured Replies

Okay so took my 2009 Skoda Octavia elegance to my local mechanic for new disks and pads all way round , he established after peeling away tape as a bodge repair a horrible butchery of a plug on the cars wiring loom ,

The problem for mine is found under the passengers side front bake , some versions have rear drivers I've heard.

theres two ways to fix this, first cut wire and solder in a pre wired version. However this option looks repaired . I don't like the repaired look , so i went with OEM .

The part no. Your looking for is ref. 1j0 973802

This can be used for things like wiper motor brake pad sensor boot latch and brake light.

Easy really if yours looks like mine , take away any plastic buy new fit wires jobs a good en , I'll show you final photos when part comes in from Skoda.

But for now all i have done is bagged it up sealed with zip ties untill part came to take off warning light
