Yh she certainly moves-even better when you consider she weighs in 1700kg plus! I've always missed my old VR6 highline cause of the sound of a sixshooter so to be back in one is awesome an even better with the Charger!

I'm too jealous right now to say any thing constructive :envy:

I've just been put today with my brother testing the launch control ready for next wkend at the pod-I've never been in ANYTHING that goes from standing like this did today ! I've had and been in cars that physically push you back into the seat from the acceleration but this thing takes your head and smacks it into the head rest like a hammer hitting you!-does make me think though what the hell a 918 or a Veyron feels like!!

so some times from my runs at gti spring fest yesterday

weather was pretty decent (maybe a little too hot as got the inevitable "pod face" lol) and wind was minimal which can always be a bit of a bugger at the pod being so open!

tried to get used to the launch control , which I will say is far more a brutal assault than my dsg octy VRS was, and pretty much fluffed the first run putting in 13.1

shaved a half second on the second pass and at this point to be fair I could of gone home happy with a 12.57 but thought I'd give another go just for practice on the launch of her!

final run 12.43 and just a shade under 113mph at the terminal!!!

Must admit im pretty chuffed with her times and performance-my brother was running a friends Golf R with a tte 460 , no seats/spare and some serious engine work and hitting 11.9's so to be running these times out of a large family estate fully equipped with full size spare, kids seats and a kerb weight touching over 1700kg you can imagine I'm happy-plus sounded beautiful going down!

May try stripping out rear seats and spare once gear box has been updated etc later in the year but for now I'm a happy boy!!

also good to see some great cars down there and a few briskoda cars too I noticed!!

A little update date on the performance of my Audi barge. A little trip over to rockingham over the wkend for Gti Inters . New venue for them so finding their feet with this one but personally had a great weekend with the bonus of full track wkend tickets and some sprint action for my Charger.

had several sessions on rockingham national circuit and started to get to grips with it (esp the twisty chicane into tightening right handed that caught my little brother out in his golf lol) but they also had an 1/8 mile set up on the pit straight between the bankings. Originally wasn't going to have a go at this but my mate got me some free passes and the benefit was 0-60 times as well as 1/8 timing slips so did it out of interest after my previous sessions at the pod.

was expecting her 60 time around 4.5 esp after seeing several stage 2 mk7 golf r's hitting low 4's and 8.2's 1/8 and a S5 Charger coupe with 480 bhp on tap hitting 4.2!

So really happy with a 3.76 0-60 and personal best 7.997 just scraping  that sub 8 1/8

for a 1 3/4 tonne family estate really didn't expect to be hitting such times

also just fitted some some new black edition badges and blacked the cooler out behind the grill just to make her a little more underplayed and stealthy . I'll get some pics up soon but for now the timings proof

Interesting how your lower ETs also had the lower speed through the beam.

Yh I noticed this but second run was on the left lane which was higher up on the bank so maybe a greater wind resistance at higher speed  -only thing I cud think that would of effected the 4 mile difference!?
