My name's Nick Caulfield. I live in North Surrey. All the cars I've owned to date have been Skodas. I started with a new '03 Fabia Silverline, then I had an ex-Demo '55 Octavia Ambiente hatchback. That was followed by a new '10 Octavia Elegence estate and my current car is a '64 Superb estate 4x4 diesel which I got when it was 11 months old and just under 4000 miles on the clock.

Hi folks, I am Carpotter been here before but forgot passwords etc as its been a while, wife's 2008 Fabia Mk2 keeps me busy. Retired electronics/electromech engineer mainly business equipment but some experiance in car electrics so maybe might be of some help to you!

Hi guys so the bcm on my 09 octavia left the chat recently and I had an auto electric place code in a second hand one for me . The issue I'm having now is when i select side lights the actual side lights only the filament is glowing and the drl in the fogs illuminate. The car never had the drls working prior to the bcm replacement and thr car lock never chirped either. Another issue I have is both door mirrors aren't working and I tries to replace them with an aftermarket set but still no luck.

Since I had the car, every time I drove it, it has had what my wife called a rattling from the doors. I always characterised it as a creak. As the car is otherwise so quiet (especially when on battery at slow speed) it was quite noticable.
